War Game - Day 8 - NaNo 2015With an indignant stride, Whut made their way to the largest of the tents. Subconsciously, Brava’s hand moved to touch her pouch, where the map now sat.War Game - Day 8 - NaNo 2015 by HiguchiPhoenix
The critter threw back the flaps of the tent as one might swat an insect and disappeared inside, hollering once again for the captain. His voice stopped as he no doubt found the place empty.
The champion was out of the way, if not far. The rest of the regimen, however, was tired on their feet and worse for wear. Before they started scouring the camp for clues on where people had gone she would need to move, and she couldn’t think of an opportune time.
She thrust the hand on her pouch under its flap and grasped tightly onto the glass orb that dropped into it. She still had no idea what it could be, but grenades generally hurt things, right? She could only hope.
Without leaving the tent, she stuck her arm out and hurled the object as hard as she could at the critters and the mount.
There was a loud shattering of glass and an
War Game - Day 6 - NaNo 2015Waiting in the quiet was somewhat agonizing. What with everything else the game had to offer, a whisper system would have been infinitely more useful at this very moment. Were they trying to make things more realistic? Despite all the funny hologram projection menus of the PI?War Game - Day 6 - NaNo 2015 by HiguchiPhoenix
Mentally grumbling about it wouldn’t make the feature suddenly implement itself. They’d just have to find a way to keep in cntact without something like that.
To keep herself busy she kept an eye on the figure across the way. They kept glancing over at the food, perhaps somewhat impatiently. Their hood shrouded their head well, but when it turned Brava could just make out a pipe sticking out from its mouth, the source of all that smoke. What was in it? Some sort of VR tobacco? Or maybe some sort of herb that did something? She tried to imagine all hte possibilities to keep her mind busy.
The creature suddenly perked up. Brava hadn’t heard anything, but clearly the figure had. It turned around, a
War Game - Day 5 - NaNo 2015Brava, of course, didn’t even know if the treasure even existed. She tried to think of something. “The Relinquo,” she said, as matter-of-factly as she could, as though reciting from some mental textbook, “is a very powerful weapon found within the War Game. Players hoping to seek it out must follow the sun.” That sounded like something riddle-y, right? She was just winging it, of course. She still didn’t have a plan for when they never found the item to begin with.War Game - Day 5 - NaNo 2015 by HiguchiPhoenix
“Follow the sun,” VenomFang repeated. “East? Is it to the east?”
“I don’t know,” Brava sighed. “Have you been watching the sun since we got here? I know I haven’t. Which way is east?”
Frowning, VenomFang squinted upwards. There were a load of trees in the way, but it wouldn’t matter much. They didn’t know the time of day.
“For now, we have a bigger problem,” Brava said. “What happens when the clash en

The awkward and excitable HiguchiPhoenix is now offering open commissions! If, after seeing the prices below, you are still confused about how much your commission will cost, please message me for an estimate price!
All commissions are expected to be paid upfront and to my PayPal. The e-mail is email@example.com. (Yes, I still use Yahoo. DON'T JUDGE MEEEEE.) If the commissions isn't filled within a month I will return the fee, guaranteed.
Before finalization of a commission, I will draw a sketch or two and ask whether or not it is to your taste. This can happen three times. The fourth and onward will involve a fee of +$1 per, simply because sketches, like everything else, take time and effort. It is my intention to draw exactly what you are looking for as well as I can, but there is no pleasing some people, ay?
This fee is nulled if it is a misunderstanding on my part, but know that this will be at my own discretion.
New information on my commissions can be found on my Tumblr: higuchispoopy.tumblr.com/priva…
