Char Sketches - Misc Pt. 3

Eleni, in the sidekick classes of their school for people with super powers. Honor roll student and very studious. Her power is over plants.

Alban, in the hero classes. Well known due to his rare and versatile ability, shapeshifting. Maintains decent grades but is not enthusiastic. Eleni is eventually assigned to him to keep him on track.

Leo, tall and happy-go-lucky. In the hero classes. His grades are rather poor. His power is super speed.

Sophie, short and studious. In the sidekick classes. Probably the only student with better grades than Eleni. Eventually partners with Leo. Her power is invisibility.

Maria, the captain of the ship and the story's narrator. Adventurous and rebellious. Is running away from her dastardly uncle to live a life on the high seas.

Jonathan, who prefers the whole thing instead of 'Jon.' Named by Maria, he is actually a clone of Adolf Hitler. (NaNoWriMos makes weird things happen.)

Roy, a traveling scholar. Picked up by Maria and the crew when her uncle tried to kidnap him for unknown reasons.

Jasper, a cabin boy from a pirate ship shipwrecked by a kraken before the very eyes of the crew of the Time Bandit. He, as well as a few others from the vessel, are rescued by Maria and company.

Sylica, the main character. Race is Promethian. She has a lot of magic and very little control over it.

Alister, a knight from the capital. Race is Celestial. He can sprout wings from his back at will. When Sylica and 74 first meet him he is under a spell that turns him into a tall, crane-like bird.

74, who is basically a ninja. Race is Alisian. He can teleport short distances if he concentrates. Indebted to Sylica.

Gauche, a Marquis. Race is Crean. He is half human, half clockwork and steam. He 'breathes' from his neck; if he drinks something like tea, the steam from the pipes smells like it. He winds up helping Sylica and Alister because he finds a Promethian and a strange bird very interesting. (Why his back is to us I have no idea, that's just how he wound up.) (He originally appeared as a roleplaying character for a group that has since been removed from dA.)
