Hair Color/Style: Curly and messy, in a tone of light ginger. Tends to keep it in an unkept ponytail, if only to keep it out of his eyes. It doesn't always work.

Personality: Leonard Ross, upon first impressions, might usually be taken as a lazy slob who doesn't get enough sleep, and they would be somewhat correct. Ross would like to believe that this is exactly what he wants people to think. In actuality, it is his lack of sleep that reveals more about his diligence than his slovenly nature; Ross performs his spy work where good spy work is usually done: where no one can see. That being said, he keeps up an air of casualty and dry humor, and will openly make jokes about how unfit he is for his position.
Ross also frequently offers consolance and an ear for those with troubles around the League, taking advantage of his Empath abilities to dig out people's feelings and urging them to share them. This may be less of a sympathetic gesture and more of an infortmation-gathering one, however.

Biography: Ross did not start as a spy, but rather a detective. His mother before him was a detective, his father a chocolate maker; Ross took up a fondness for both, making a career out of the first and a habit out of the second. His empath abilities made it easier to discern who a culprit was, or if someone was withholding information, and in this field he acceled.
Detectives, however, have a lot of leg work to do, and not much thrill. There were too many people asking him to find silly things like lost cats and missing husbands. Seeking something a little more, he joined the League, and began work as a spy. His unkept and unprofessional appearance, once a turn off for customers in his previous job, now worked as a camoflauge,  masking a thorough and capable worker behind a mask of slovenly clothes and wildly curly hair. This lazy facade, as well as his name and mane-colored hair, became the basis for his alias Sleeping Lion, and the name has stuck with him into his advancement into the position of Spy Master.

Strengths: Being an Empath allows him to sense other people's emotions, particularly strong ones like anger and grief and love. He also knows how to shut up when he needs to.
Weaknesses: Can't focus without his chocolate fix. He also has an aversion to anything loud, or bright, or otherwise migraine-inducing. The guy doesn't get much sleep, after all, and these tend to give him headaches.
